What a great feeling that our water pipes are all fixed up again. Even a few extra low point drains have been installed. Our plumber finally showed up, though he was a bit late, but I have long since understood that plumbers are living after their own time or are having different, while slower, clocks.
And once he was working, things went real quick. The cost? 70 Bucks!! Can’t beat that, can you?
Campobello is bathing in bright sunshine, even though we are still having pretty heavy winds blowing in from the water. But that did not deter me from starting to remove the camping equipment from our van. Was kinda forced to it, as 4 huge seat benches are occupying our dining room. We needed to clear the way for getting those out of the house again. yeah, so I was outside and getting my last hair blown off. But when I moved around a lot I wasn’t feeling too cold.
Next task will be to get the solar panels off the roof. However, in order to do that I need the deck furniture out of the shed. Having bench and table out on the rear deck might even lure up some warmer temperatures. Today it was –6C which is something in the neighborhood of 20F.
Right, I was going to tell how it went about with the trailer water. It was not frozen. Everything was just fine. I went about and drained the water out.
Now we are just waiting for the big warm-up. Yeah right! As if that is coming down the road real quick.
And since our trip is all over here’s the route we took to escape the dreary winter in the Canadian North:
11,047km or 6,900 miles
Thanks for coming on over!
